You can drop of your rental here, if you feel you can make it to the next islands on your own. They either keep the pokemon at this site, or send it via poke'center to another location. Exchanges for a different pokemon cost only the difference in original rent prices.
((Ex; Lapras for Wailord=2000p.))

Lapras : 1,500p

Most people prefer to rent a Lapras because of their kind personality and the fact that they aren't quick to anger. Water generally sloshes up over their shells and your legs may get a bit wet, but the Lapras' friendly attitude usually overcomes this.

Wailord : 3,500p

Wailord, being larger, allows one to let their smaller pokemon to ride outside with them. A Wailord also swims faster and can force through abnormal currents without noticing. They're generally not the brightest creatures, and they don't like to talk.

TentaCruel : 2,000p

Though Tentacruel isn't the fastest swimmer, it is large and a powerful swimmer. Whirlpools don't bother them, and because they generally aren't seen in colder water, more curious [wild] pokemon almost always come up to investigate.
