<sub>Her eyes continued to wander around the room, not even noticing the Persian that had stalked out from the shadows. A shiver ran up her spine as the pokemon released its call, that had spoking her at first. After she had calmed after only a few short seconds she let her crimson eyes look the Persain over. It was in good shape, slender and elegant, like any creature of its status should be. Finally her gaze followed to the stainless steel tray. She looked at the pokemon for a minute then stepped over to the tray. Her boots made a sharp clicking sound that she had silenced when she had first entered the lab and poked around.

She took a moment running her fingers over the 5 pokeballs. She kinda guessed she just had to pick a number and let the cards fall where they would. She glanced behind her looking at the Persain. Had it not been there she would of just grabbed them all and ran but wouldn't want to make a bad impression this early in a new region she figured. She turned back to the tray, this was all a game of chance and luck didn't seem to be her dominate attribute. "Well, I guess I'll take 5." she said placing a graceful hand over the ball. She tossed it up slightly and flipped her hand catching it as it fell lightly into her grasp.</sub>

<sub>Nani jumped back as the pokemon emerged from his pokeball. After the sudden shock had disappeared, a slight smirk tugged at her face. This pokemon seemed to have the kind of attitude she wanted for her team. 'MACHOP!' He yelled angrily for having to be trapped in his pokeball for so long. Then he looked up at Nani, his eyes were sharp and held what looked like hate or distrust. The glance was returned, slightly less intense of course, to the pokemon who stuck out his tongue at his new 'Trainer.' Just then the Persain returned and dropped the items at her feet. "Thanks." she said picking up the pouch and then turned back to her machop. "We'll finish this later." she said then returned her pokemon.

With a last glance to the Persain and a slight nod she was out the door. Kicking closed behind her, it slammed a little harder than she had hoped for, it sounded like something had fallen. Perhaps a test tube or becker because she hard the unmistakable sound of shattering glass. She cursed slightly under her breath then took off into the night. She probably looked like the grim reaper with her black hood over her head. She hoped no one in the town would see her the way she was running it probably seemed like she had just jacked something from the lab. So toward the first route and FAST!</sub>
